Deion Sanders has been terminated from his position at the school he co-founded in Texas, after admitting he got into a scuffle with a head official, TMZ reports.
Prime Prep Academy is cutting ties with the former NFL great, who was an "ambassador and employee of the school," after allegations surfaced that he choke slammed the school's head official Kevin Jefferson.
While Deion denies assaulting Johnson, he did admit they "locked up" after Deion learned some of the student athletes weren't doing well in the classroom.
While the school would not confirm the reason for Deion's termination, they did acknowledge his contributions to the academy.
"Deoin's positive contribution is appreciated and regarded as a laudable example. The school family wishes Mr. Sanders much success in his future endeavors."
