The drama between Stevie J and his baby's mother Carol Bennett is continuing to unfold as the days pass.  Bennett recently sat down with Vibe Vixen to explain in further detail how he owes her $1.2 million in unpaid child support.  The pair have two children together, a 14-year-old and 16-year-old.  They separated in 1999, and Carol was receiving child support since their split, but she claims that Stevie has been missing payments since the hild support agreement was established.  She claims that between 1999 and 2013, Stevie has missed a total of 168 payments.  Carol spoke to Vibe about how she has been taking care of her children as a single mother while watching Stevie J live the celebrity life on reality TV.

"When the show first came on, it was tough for us.  But we have a good foundation. I've been working since I was 14 years old. I'm not going to wait for anything from him. I will take care of my children by any means necessary. As a parent, that's what should be done. However, the responsibility should not be solely on me. His responsibility should not fall on me. I don't want him arrested; I just want him to support his children."

Stevie has in the past managed to avoid two arrest warrants over failing to pay child support that popped up in 2008 and 2010.  Bennett said that it's been difficult to collect her money since Stevie moved out of state since the child support got set up.

According to the head of Project Child Support, Kai D. Patterson, in 2007 Stevie reported his income as $54,763, and out of that money, only $35.53 was seized towards child support for Bennett in support of his two kids.  $5,035.64 was involuntarily paid to her through child support in 2009, while Stevie's income for that year was reported at $0.  By October 25th, Bennett and Patterson received two involuntary payments which totaled $18,566.14, which were forcibly taken from Stevie's bank account.

Bennett stated, ""The system isn't set up to deal with and garnish wages from people who aren't on a structured payroll system and entrepreneurs," which is partially why it's been so hard to collect.

Bennett has gone on Twitter to interact with her followers about the interview she had with Vibe, and also called on Stevie to share his input on the situation, to which she was met with a dismissive tweet.  Stevie simply tweeted, "off my time-line monkey."
