Wyclef Jean is reportedly deep in the red, according to his business manager.

The Smoking Gun reports that the former Fugees member is up to his eyeballs in tax liens -- $2.9 million worth to be exact.

Jean had reportedly agreed to shell out $100,000 to pay back entertainment law firm Shukat Arrow Hafer Weber & Herbsman. The Haitian artist was supposed to have paid back $60,000 by the end of last year. However, his accountant reportedly sent out an email in January to Jean's creditors stating, "in my most professional verbiage...there ain't no money."
