Joe Budden really ruffled some feathers on Twitter yesterday when he engaged in a full-out debate with various fans regarding his beliefs that Drake would defeat Jay Z if the two MC's engaged in an official rap battle or feud in the near future. Conversation of the potential competitive rap beef began after Jay Z dropped a few light bars on Drizzy over Jay Electronica's "We Made It" track. Drake responded lightly on his surprise "Draft Day" track which was also recently released, and now Hip-Hop fans from various locations have been chiming into the drama between the two stars.
Budden got in the mix of things after a fan told him that he is crazy if he thinks Drake can beat Jay Z in a rap battle.
"I'm crazy then," Joe responded, and from there he was left with no choice but to defend his opinions from every Twitter user who disagreed with him. A screenshot of Jay Z's Twitter profile was also taken shortly after all of the Joe Budden drama occurred, which showed that Jay was actually following Joe Budden. It remains uncertain if that image was photoshopped however, because Jay Z's profile today, April 3rd, does not show that he is following anyone, so it can't be determined for sure if he ever actually followed Joe Budden after Joe talked down on his ability to beat Drake.
