It looks like everyone wasn't happy with Prince's legendary performance at the Essence Festival Saturday night.
According to B. Scott, singer and R&B Diva cast member, Lil' Mo was backstage prior to the singer's performance when she was forced to wait until Prince headed to the stage in order to use the bathroom. Upset that she wasn't able to go to bathroom because of Prince's presence, she vented on Instagram about the ordeal.
"the muthaf***** NOLA police just tried me and @dynamiteKO we had VIP passes to meander the whole superdome dude talmbout "we gotta hold the walk through cuz PRINCE coming through the back" b**** wtf. i don't want to see him. i had to PEE. this industry s*** is CRAZY. embody think they not human!! mannnnn...I'm GONE
After his performance, the singer posted a Kermit meme mocking his set.
"But he didn't emm hit all the damn notes..nah. still not my business but this tea goes!" the meme reads.
Shortly after social media posts, Prince's fans called her names, questioned her celebrity, and suggested that her anger should be geared toward the police, not the singer, from holding her back from going to the restroom.
Prince also responded with a fan tweet that read, "I hope she know none of her clothes match."
He later deleted the tweet and reposted it as a photo caption.
