According to reports from TMZ, there may be a chance that the mother of Matthew Knowles's second love child may have been friends with Solange at one time. Allegedly, the baby mother's name is TaQoya Branscomb and she became friends with Solange in 2008 when the two would hang out together at hotspots in Texas.
TMZ is also reporting that Solange did not know of the relationship that existed between her former friend and her father, although Matthew Knowles was aware that TaQoya was friends with his daughter.
TaQoya recently released a statement indicating that she has "taken the necessary legal action" against Mr. Knowles. In May of this year, TaQoya filed court papers demanding that Matthew Knowles take a DNA test to prove that he is her daughter's father. TaQoya is also requesting that Matthew Knowles pay child support and pay for her attorney fees.
