Lauryn Hill wasn't about to let a disrespectful fan ruin the vibe of her recent show at Chicago's House of Blues, and booted the bird flipping guy from the show. According to TMZ, the fan became angry after Hill took the stage nearly an hour late and wasn't into her first song.

An eyewitness revealed, "Lauryn's opening song performance was terrible, and when a fan called her and flipped her off...she berated him and had him tossed by security."

Hill responded by telling the fan, "When I get up on this stage, don't be disrespectful. You can go. Seriously, you can go....I would prefer that. You're not gonna mess [this] up for the rest of these people. You can get your money and go. I'm alright with that. I'm okay with that."

She added, "You understand that? You can get on your blogs and you can tweet. You can say whatever you want to. I don't give a rat's ass."

According to TMZ, several other fans asked for refunds at the show.

Do you think Lauryn did the right thing regarding the fan?
