Earlier today, Yahoo published photos of Officer Wilson receiving a commendation for "extraordinary effort in the line of duty." In one of the photos, Wilson is shaking hands with Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson, another member of the force who has received heavy criticism in the past week.
The leak of information has taken social media by storm, with several media personalities, including MSNBC's Goldie Taylor, tweeting it to their followers.
