It only took a few weeks for J. Cole's third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, to surpass 500,000 sales and become certified Gold.
He managed to move over 300K units in its first week of being released, and hit the 500K mark shortly afterward. J. Cole utilized minimal promotion for his album release and didn't put out any singles to help boost the hype behind his sales. This is J. Cole's third consecutive album to reach 500K sales or more.
