Ty Dolla $ign has a lot of plans this year including the release of his debut album and more collaborations with Kanye West, including a powerhouse track with Rihanna, Yeezy and Paul McCartney.

Ty opened up to Billboard about working with Kanye after the release of the rapper's new track "Only One." With Paul on the piano and Ty singing background vocals, the West Coast artist was happy about the single's reception.

"It came out, everybody's going crazy," he said. "They playing it on the radio, every city, every state, every country, so s***, I'm happy!"

He also talked about working on a total of nine songs with Kanye and the recording process in Mexico. Kanye called on Ty prior to the "Or Nah" singer's joining Young Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa and others for the "Under the Influence" tour in September.

"One day my homie Ricky Anderson [Kanye's cousin] hit me up and was like, 'Kanye wants you to come work with him in Mexico,' so I came out there [and] we did like nine songs in one day; one of them happened to be 'Only One.'" he said. " [We were] in Mexico, at this big house. The back of the house had no walls and no doors; it was just open [and facing] the ocean. You would think he would want the mic enclosed and all that but we just had the doors open, and it came out perfect. That inspired me to record like that at the crib. Everybody [on his team] is into all the dope s***that's out and they said that my [Beach House] project was one of them."

He also confirmed that the collaboration with Rihanna and McCartney will more than likely be released soon since there is a video shot for the track. The singer also hopes Kanye will work with him for his debut album.

"Right now I'm focusing on -- since we got all his stuff done -- I'm trying to get him on my album [laughs]," he said. "I'm just waiting for that date that he's like, "Yeah cool, let's do it." I'm finishing up my album right now, and I definitely want to get that 'Ye joint on there."
