Karrine Steffans was accused of calling out Christina Milian after the former video vixen shared a line from her poem about Lil Wayne on Instagram. The excerpt read, "And most importantly, little girl, be careful not to claim a man who belongs to the world."

Many took Karrine's post to be taking shots at Wayne's alleged love interest, Christina Milian, including the pop star herself. The "Dip It Low" singer told TheShadeRoom that "no one has ever wanted to claim that," referring to Karrine.

In response, the "Vindicated: Confessions of a Video Vixen, Ten Years Later," author told VladTV exclusively that her post was not a jab at the pop star. Karrine added that none of Wayne's women are a factor with her, including Milian, who Karrine believes has "deep seeded insecurity" if she thinks the post is about her.

"There is no story between Christina and me. I don't know her, nor has she ever been acknowledged in my presence––not her and not any of Wayne's other women. None of them are factors in my friendship with him, which has been ongoing for eight years now. Therefore, I wasn't thinking about her or any of the others when I posted a line from a poem I wrote about my relationship with Wayne, years ago, and a photo of Wayne Street, here in Los Angeles. I don't think about his women in real life and I certainly don't think about them on Instagram. That's his job. My job is to continue to be his friend and to be there for him, in good and bad times, no matter who is in and out of his life. Now, if Christina was in any way convicted by an Instagram post that had nothing to do with her, that seems like a personal issue and a deep seeded insecurity––all of which has nothing to do with me."

Karrine also addressed Christina's comment about never being "claimed," adding, "I don't need to be "claimed," like lost luggage. I have a husband. Going forward, I wish her the best of everything life and love has to offer."
