Kendrick Lamar turned the hip hop world on its head after dropping To Pimp a Butterfly a week earlier than expected. The sophomore effort was originally slated for a March 23 release. However, it leaked onto the web over the weekend and was made available on iTunes and Spotify late Sunday night.

Since then, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, C.E.O. of TDE, has expressed his disappointment with Interscope Records, accusing them of being responsible for the early leak. Via Twitter he communicated the following:

"I would like 2 personally thank @Interscope for f*cking up our release ... Somebody gots 2 pay 4 this mistake !!! This is the kraziest sh*t ever. I will deal with BS later ... let's focus on the album."

Last week, the album art for the project was released via Instagram and on Saturday (March 14), Kendrick released the track "King Kunta."
