Washington, D.C. rapper Yung Gleesh is being accused of sexual assault while in Texas for last week's South by Southwest festival.
According to KXAN, the arrest affidavit indicates the victim went out with a friend one night and later ended up at another friend's house in North Central Austin. She admitted to passing out around 2:30am due to intoxication. The victim's friend said Gleesh and his entourage arrived at the house an hour later and appeared to be friends with one of the men who lived at the residence.
Around 6 am, the victim's friend woke up to find Gleesh on top of the victim and they "were both largely unclothed." She pulled the rapper off of her friend and a verbal altercation broke out. By the time police arrived Gleesh fled the scene, but his manager was still present. He told officers Gleesh left for Dallas for a show and was then headed back to D.C. Gleesh ended up cancelling his show in Dallas.
