Last summer, rapper Ronald "Ra Diggs" Herron was found guilty on all 21 counts he faced, including three counts of murder and several other weapons, drugs and racketeering charges. Nine months after that guilty verdict, the Brooklyn rapper and drug kingpin has now been sentenced to three life terms plus 105 years for his "reign of terror" at Brooklyn's Gowanus projects, according to NY Daily News.

Herron reportedly kept his cool in the courtroom, telling the judge, "You can sentence me to 10 life sentences; I'm only going to die one time, and God have mercy on us all."

Ra Diggs is associated with artists like Uncle Murda & Waka Flocka Flame, and was considered to be on the rise before the trial began. His violent music videos and lyrics were used against him in court, with prosecutors claiming they showcased his "gangster lifestyle." His lawyers argued that it was merely a fictional re-telling of life in the hood, and that he cleaned up his act since beating a state murder case. The jury didn't believe it, however, and now Diggs is looking at some serious time.
