Since the beginning of his career Kanye West has shown a strong penchant for fashion, from his early days as the "Louis Vuitton Don" to rocking Ralph Lauren head to toe at New York Fashion Week. In his latest interview with the New York Times, the rapper/designer recalled when he met Ralph Lauren that week, and what he said that had Kanye jumping for joy.
"Do you know what he said when he did that? 'This is my son,' " West exclaimed, referring to the photo of the two when Lauren placed his hand on 'Ye's cheek. "And I was thinking, 'I knew it! I knew Ralph was my daddy!' " As all Kanye fans know, the Chi-town rapper wore nothing but Polo during his "College Dropout" days, so this was clearly a proud moment for him.
