A story has been circling around about Gwyneth Paltrow that could be mistaken for a Hollywood movie, featuring a regular Joe rushing to work on Wall Street during 9/11. Lara Lundstrom Clarke told media outlets that she was saved from the terror attacks that stunned the world on September 11th after Gwyneth Paltrow almost ran her down in her Mercedes.
Clarke was late for work and decided to jaywalk across 7th Avenue when a Mercedes starting barreling towards her. She and the car both stopped in their tracks, which is when Clarke realized it was Paltrow behind the wheel. Clarke was so starteled that she missed her train and by the time she made it to work, the first plane had hit the World Trade Center.
When Gwyneth's publicist informed her of the story and informed the media that she was "very moved."
