It's always given that the US Postal Service will be overwhelmed during the holidays and some of your gifts may be late. However, that doesn't explain one woman's package showing up over a YEAR later!
Mary Beth Mauldin sent a priority cross-country Christmas gift to her mother in Winter Beach 371 days ago, which included a nightgown with red birds on it. Mauldin said it was "really over the top," and cardinals were a family favorite.
Mauldin's mother said she laughed at the incident, but Mauldin was no doubt angry about the delivery.
