Okwerdz recently spoke with BattleRap.com about his long-awaited return to the battle ring, and the potential opponents he could possibly face when he makes his comeback.  He began by addressing Math Hoffa, and how the hype and tension behind a possible battle between them has died down over the years.

"He's kind of a liability," Okwerdz told BattleRap.com, while explaining how he feels Math Hoffa may not always come prepared with three full rounds.  "I don't know that it's even worth the time to battle him, you know what I mean?  And me specifically, I feel like, you know, our little feud has kind of just died off.  It's been so damn long.  He's just been super greedy and just wanted way too much money, and now he's just taking battle for way cheaper because he's over-saturated himself."

He went on to drop some harsh words on DNA about how he believes him to be "trash."

"I think about it still, but it's not gonna be DNA. I just think he's wack. They keep offering me DNA every time. Every time. I think he's trash. He's had a couple good performances. His sh*t against Rone was fire and I've told him that to his face, 'Your sh*t against Rone was amazing.' But you gotta think too, that's three one-minute rounds. So then when you go to a SMACK battle that's one of his rounds. A lot of the time he'll have a cool first round and then everything else will be trash. He goes with the same predictable as* approach every time. It's just boring. The Pass battle, all it was was just, 'Pass, Pass, Pass, f*ck Okwerdz. Pass, Pass, Pass, f*ck Okwerdz.' It's boring, bro. If I was to ever come back, I would just want something exciting. Something that I wanted to do, not some stan that's been calling me out for hella years that I don't even really care too much about."

Okwerdz did state that he'd "kill Serius Jones," if they ever got to step into the ring together, and also spoke on possibly battling Aye Verb.  He continued by explaining exactly why he stepped away from the ring for so long and how battlers don't take the time to establish side businesses for themselves and properly utilize the many potential revenue streams that Battle Rap can create for them.
