VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes caught up with one of Chicago's finest, Big T, for a post-NOME 4 interview to discuss the battles that took place on the epic Smack/URL card.

Big T battled one of the best punchline rappers in the sport, B-Magic, and while people weren't sure how this battle was going to play out leading up to the event, they surely didn't expect what actually happened on stage.  After a ferocious first round from Magic, many battle fans were sure that he was going to lock down either a 2-1 or 3-0 victory; however, he suffered some crippling chokes in the second and third rounds that tipped the scales in the battle.

After speaking to some fans and Battle Rap personnel, there are some who believe that Magic's bars were enough to earn him the victory even with his chokes, while others believe Big T won off of technicality.

Big T spoke with Hughes about how hard he had to work to earn crowd reaction and whether or not there was a bit of bias in the building.  He believes that he won the battle and that his bars will translate better on camera.

Big T also spoke about the unfortunately timed 2-minute rounds in the Cortez vs. T-Rex battle, and also the club shutting down the event before Charlie Clips and Tay Roc could settle the score in their highly anticipated rematch.
