BattleRap.com caught up with B-Magic recently and spoke to him about a number of topics related to the sport. He opened up about how he prepares for battles, and refuses to do extensive background searches on his opponents. For B-Magic, having strong punchlines is more than enough.
He then spoke on the presence of ghostwriting within the sport and he actually revealed that he used to be a ghostwriter for other St. Louis battlers, but he wouldn't name which ones in particular. Magic even shared a story about how he was once offered $1,000 to ghostwrite. He went on to discuss the presence of other small battle leagues emerging, and whether or not he thinks they are helping or hurting the culture.
