With the 2014 NFL preseason in full swing, players and fans around the nation are once again enjoying the sport that they're most passionate about. However, when tensions rise, that passion can turn into all-out mayhem.

That's exactly what happened in Oakland on Tuesday when players from the Dallas Cowboys and Raiders got into a brawl during a scrimmage.

After Dallas defensive back Morris Claiborne made a rough tackle on Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera, both squads swarmed the field and went at each other. Attempts to deflate the situation failed as the brawl spilled from the practice field onto the sidelines.

On the sidelines things took a twist as the Oakland fans, close enough to reach out and touch the players, got involved. An unidentified Raider faithful even tried to grab Cowboys corner B.W.Webb and hit him with a helmet.

Luckily for the fan, Webb was restrained before things took a turn for the worst. Check out a video of the brawl above.
