Pharoahe Monch addresses Eminem saying his track "Bring It On" would "kill most rappers 99.99 percent," and adding that Monch "has been ahead of his time since he came out." The Queens rapper says he was at a loss for words when he heard about Em's comments.
He adds that he has so much respect for Eminem, and what he's done for lyricism in hip hop, and believes that the Detroit rapper keeps the art of lyricism alive in the game. When it comes to Em's "Rap God," Pharoahe says his favorite line in the song is the one that's about himself. "I know there was a time where once I, was king of the underground/But I still rap like I'm on my Pharoahe Monch grind."
