Murda Mook spoke with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the success that came his way following his incredible performance at Total Slaughter during his rematch vs. Loaded Lux.
Mook described the love he's received from fans as "overwhelming," and he's very happy to have regained their support after his 5-0 victory vs. Iron Solomon, which most fans weren't too fond of. He reflected on how this battle has brought him a wave of new fans, and taken some of the pressure off of him to regain that top spot. Following this match, Mook's price has gone up and now he wants to be paid $100k minimum to battle again, which he is highly confident that he can get.
Aside from his interest in battling Drake, which resulted in him firing shots at the OVO rapper during his BET Hip Hop Awards cypher, Mook stated that the only other mainstream artist that he'd like to battle is Eminem.
