Widely adorned actor and producer Laurence Fishburne paid a visit to The View to speak on his new show Black-ish, and why Justin Bieber's aggressive behavior makes him the perfect representation of race relations in modern society.

Fishburne, who is the executive producer behind the show, says the meaning behind 'Black-ish' is all about preference. While some people believe the name represents African Americans "acting white," he says Justin Bieber is the perfect definition of the term.

"I think of it this way -- two words: Justin Bieber," he said. "Justin Bieber acts 'black-ish,' but he doesn't get shot by the police. He gets a police escort home."

He also explains that Bieber embraces urban culture, but isn't faced with the same troubles young black males face from higher institutions such as the police.

"People are afraid of the dark," he said. "People have been conditioned, that's just it."

'Black-ish' has gotten rave reviews and ratings since its premiere earlier this month.
