Ja Rule opened up to VladTV about growing up in Queens, and says that he felt proud to grow up in an area with such influential rappers like Run DMC and LL Cool J. He also spoke about taking music seriously when he was just a kid, but admits to getting caught up in the drug game.
The "Always Be On Time" rapper says that he and his friends used to sell drugs to his friend's parents, because he had the attitude that they would get the drugs anyway.
