Slaughterhouse member and Brooklyn native Joell Ortiz sat down with VladTV and shared his thoughts on the grand jury not holding police accountable for the death of Staten Island man Eric Garner, saying it was a sad situation and that his condolences go out to Garner's family.

Ortiz also shared some of his own experiences with crooked cops while living in the projects, saying one cop planted (what he believed to be) acid on him while in his building's lobby. He also claims a cop punched him in the stomach for no reason, and has even sneak-punched friends of his. While he's clear that this behavior doesn't apply to all cops, he's dealt with crooked police for years, and sees it as a regular occurrence where he's from.
