A$AP Ant has spoken about the passing of Mob leader A$AP Yams with VladTV. News of the 26-year-old's death sent waves of shock through the Hip Hop world with artists and fans sharing their favorite memories of the young mogul online.
Calling him a visionary, Ant speaks on Yams passing and says that the New Yorker would want people to be happy instead of mourning his passing. While reflecting on Yams' talents, he also touched on the rumors that Yams died of an overdose.
"That's not what it is," he said. "People keep talking saying he overdosed on Xanax and s*** like that. No, that's not what happened at all. It wasn't that at all."
He also spoke out about a photo that depicted A$AP Rocky at the hospital with Yams.
"Everybody on Instagram posting pictures of Rocky at the hospital where he passed away at, ya'll looking like females and the tabloids," he said. "That's not any of your business to post that. That's private for somebody. I would want to see a picture of me on the internet going to the hospital to see my grandfather while he's dying. I wouldn't want to see that."
Ant broke down his friendship with Yams and how he was welcomed to the Mob family.
