Mya gave fans in Miami quite a show this weekend when she showed off her dancing skills during a performance at G5ive strip club.
The singer made her appearance during the club's "Sexy Fridays" series and performed some of her bigger hits. Fans were able to catch the sultry singer dropping splits and other provocative moves while performing her 2013 single "Earthquake" featuring Trina. As the 34-year-old dropped it low on the stripper stage, bills were thrown her way leading many people to believe the singer found a new profession. Fans took to Twitter to comment on her dance moves, including Bow Wow who had a few things to say on Facebook.
"Mya is a stripper now? If not who advised that it was smart to perform and dance on the stripper stage?" he said. "I cant stop laughing at the video my homie sent me of mya on the stripper stage dancing. I'm like why though? Haha Hell she coulda borrowed that 1500 performance fee from the local D boy if it was that serious."
The singer hasn't responded to the criticism, but has talked about her work ethic in the past. "'I haven't really taken a break," she said in May. 'I'm always performing whether it's spot dates or a little mini tour here and there. Always staying afloat and creating, so I have a huge archive of music."
Despite her absence in the mainstream world, the singer has found international success in Japan with the release of her 2008 effort Sugar & Spice and her 2011 release K.I.S.S (Keep It Sexy & Simple.)
