Lil Herb spoke on what's happening with his music career during a recent chat with VladTV.

While he's already dropped a couple of mixtapes and has another one in the works, the Chi-Town spitter says he's not anticipating releasing an album for the time being, as he wants to get his buzz a little higher through touring and shows first. However, Herb feels like there are songs on his upcoming mixtape "Ballin' Like I'm Kobe" that make it feel like an album.

Speaking on labels, the 19-year-old rapper says he's independent at the moment, although he's been in and out of label meetings.

"I think I'm independent now because I want to know my worth," he adds. "I'm not anxious to jump into a label situation...I've waited this long, it's not really a rush."

Moving on, Herb comments on Nelly telling VladTV that Chief Keef would've been better off if he never signed to Interscope. G Herbo says every artist's situation is different, and he's not going to sign to a label just for the sake of signing; there has to be a good reason.
