Dumbfoundead sat down with VladTV to discuss his return to the ring against Conceited. He also spoke on the subjects of wanting to battle again and his favorite battle from the Blackout 5 event.

He expressed that while at first being nervous about returning from a five-year hiatus, he soon got back into the rhythm of writing and believes his performance went well. Many battle rap fans were calling his showdown against Conceited a classic and Dumbfoundead assuredly agreed while giving much due props to his Blackout 5 opponent, saying that it takes two to make a classic. He also stated that he was the victor in the battle due to his broader range of content.

While on the subject of battle emcees making their return to the ring, Dumbfoundead told VladTV that he felt he did better than Bishop Brigante. His level of confidence was evident while stating that his approach in the ring is still entertaining and he is ready to battle whoever will give him a challenge. He then went on to reveal that his favorite battle of the venue was between Florida emcee 24/7, who also returned from a three-year hiatus, and London's Eurgh.
