Grammy-nominated singer Jhene Aiko recently visited Snoop Dogg's GGN show. While there, Aiko spoke candidly about her hit "The Worst" and also what influences her sound.

Aiko confirms that she's an L.A. native, saying, "I grew up off of Slauson and Overhill." That sound has been embedded into her music, as she states, "I definitely think [my music] has a West Coast element. I always tell whoever I'm working with make sure it's something you can ride to."

Jhene goes on to reveal that production team Fisticuffs produced her track "The Worst." When asked about its popularity, Aiko tells Snoop, "I knew it was something about the melody. I had a good feeling about it, but I didn't know it would be as big as it was."

Check out the clip up top. Being an interview with Snoop, naturally the emerging artist also talks about smoking.
