If there was an award for GM of the year in the NBA, one person that should be on the top of that list is the Oklahoma City Thunder's GM Sam Presti. With moves that started in the off-season by signing Anthony Morrow, who has been huge for the team throughout injuries and other weird circumstances, plus other noted big moves during the trade deadline acquiring big man from the Utah Jazz Enes Kanter, who has seemingly filled the void for guys like Serge Ibaka who's currently healing from knee surgery that will sideline him for a month. Also they acquired a college teammate of Kevin Durant's from Texas University, DJ Augustin, who seems to always play big when he's acquired by a new team, similar to the role he did in Chicago when Derrick Rose went down with knee injury.

Now in this exclusive, GM Presti speaks on the status of Kevin Durant which sent shockwaves throughout the league when it was announced that the team has decided to shut down KD for a while. KD, who has been bothered by a foot problem, hasn't made the necessary progress/rehabilitation that the front office and coaching staff had hoped for. Originally KD suffered a Jones Fracture in the foot and it seemed to have been rehabbing fine, according to Presti. All things have changed for the Thunder franchise as of now and it makes you wonder if this team led by Russell Westbrook and a cast of good role players can make a legitimate run in the tough Western Conference playoffs. There's still no timetable on Durant's return today, according to Presti, which may seal the fate of Russell Westbrook capturing his first NBA MVP honor.

To close out the footage, Sam Presti answers a question about KD's future this season with the team and going forward. Big Props to sneakerreporter for the exclusive footage!
