First time battlers Smack and Jack Thriller had an exclusive sit down with VladTV where they discussed the 2015 XXL Freshman list and battlers having the capability to create good quality music.
G-Unit soldier Kidd Kidd has been nominated to be on the upcoming XXL Freshmen list. When Jack Thriller was asked if he felt his labelmate should be placed high on the listing, he responded by saying that the New Orleans native should have the highest position on the list due to his affiliation with G-Unit. The comedian also stated that Epic recording artist Bobby Smurda should be on the list despite his incarceration. Also nominated for the XXL list was an artist who Smack exposed to the world, New Jersey's own Tsu Surf.
When Jack Thriller brought up the question of battle rappers being able to make good music, the Queens native mentioned that legendary DJ Kid Capri will be coming out with a battle rap album in the near future featuring the elite artists from the battle rap culture. Mr. Classic then went on to state that Capri is dropping the project with the intent of proving that artists who are most known for stepping in the ring are also capable of making quality music that consumers will enjoy.
