Tiny Lister, best known for playing the infamous character Deebo in 'Friday,' speaks about the established success of the movie franchise, the notion of people still confusing him with his intimidating character, and the actual person whom the character is based on.

Tiny believed in the inherent success of 'Friday,' saying, "We knew 'Friday' was going to make a lot of noise,"  and that it did. He also credited it for making Chris Tucker a movie star. When questioned on if he got upset about being confused with his iconic character, Deebo, Tiny said, "Hell nah, I'm making so much money off of Deebo!" Lister would later flip that epic personification of Deebo into a financially lucrative deal with Monster Energy drink.

Tiny then revealed that Rollin' 60s Crips leader Big U is who actually inspired his classic character. Tiny commented, "I pulled that from Big U. I used him as my background of how I wanted this character to be perceived."
