As we all know, back in late November OG Maco accused Beyonce of stealing his video concept from "U Guessed It" - in her video for "7/11" she's seen prancing around with her dancers in hotels and her home, similar to Maco's visuals for his smash-hit. When OG Maco brought it to the media's attention, however, he says he didn't do it to come for Beyonce, but more so her "cult-like" fans. He claims that her fans are the ones who scream "Black unity" on social media but in the same breath were bashing him for his thoughts. "Look bro, we gotta stop fighting each other, 'cause look at how fast y'all wanted to bring me down," he states. "But let somebody else call me a N***** and it's like, 'Oh nah, we ain't going for that.'"
OG Maco continues to question her fans in the clip, asking them why they're defending a woman who "never even met you" and "who's never gonna even care about you." "How y'all gon' act like I'm trash and Beyonce just stole my video concept? How y'all gon' do that?" he inquires. "You're not hearing a bunch of life-changing stories from Beyonce songs" he states as he mocks "7/11." "That's not changing lives right now, but it's a hit."
The Atlanta rapper also feels that he has a substantial amount of "cult fans" as well, but says they differ from others because he tries to keep them "free in mind 'cause that's the only way for us to win." Maco - who feels that people who liken him to just some "random Vine artist" are "talking out of pure ignorance - ultimately just wants everyone to "do this: find me videos before 'U Guessed It' where that was the concept around that same relative time -- where's the hotel videos at?"
