Up to 37 students might face high school suspensions for participating in "Kick a Jew Day"... an incident where members of Vestal, New York's Jewish community were kicked by classmates.
The assistant principal at Vestal High School said 14 year old Gordon Gardner is facing disciplinary action for his involvement. Gardner says the students were imitating a prank inspired by the animated television series "South Park."
School officials say the show ran an episode entitled "Kick a Ginger Day" in 2005, which later turned into 'Kick a Jew Day' through Facebook invites & events.
Vestal Central School District administrators are still investigating this incident.
