Kobe and Vanessa Bryant have had their shares of ups and downs over the years, but it seems that they just couldn't work out certain things in their marriage, leaving Vanessa to file for divorce.
Vanessa filed for divorce Friday in Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana, Calif., citing the all-popular "irreconciliable differences." Vanessa has chosen power divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who also is representing Maria Shriver in her divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A rep for the couple released a statement on their behalf, stating "The Bryants have resolved all issues incident to their divorce privately with the assistance of counsel and a Judgment dissolving their marital status will be entered in 2012."In the statement, the Bryants "ask that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season the public respect our privacy during this difficult time."
