It's been almost nine long years since former Hot Boys member, Turk, has stepped foot outside of a correctional institution and breathed fresh air as a free man.  Earlier this morning, October 12th, the former Cash Money rapper was finally released from the Arkansas Federal Prison.

Turk, legally known as Tab Virgil Jr., was arrested in 2004 after being involved in a shoot-out with various members of the Memphis, Tennessee S.W.A.T. Team during an apartment raid, which resulted in two officers being shot during the gunfight.  Turk is currently working on releasing an autobiography titled, "The Autothugography of Turk," as well as a screenplay about his fast life titled "Reckless."

He reported to AllHipHop.com that he couldn't be more happy that he is finally home.
