Much like Kanye did with his "American Psycho"-inspired short film, a maintenance worker in North East China wound up projecting a porn film onto a building for the general public to see. Yuan Mou was assigned with the job of repairing the big screen on a building near the main train station in Jilin, and upon finishing his job he somehow accidentally linked up his laptop to the TV screen.
Without his knowledge, he put on "The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks" on his laptop, which is a banned porn movie based off of the Chinese erotic novel "The Plum in the Golden Vase." The story follows an egotistic male who has 19 sexual partners, including his six wives and side mistresses.
The laptop was connected to the big screen on the exterior of the building and played for about 10 minutes with everyone on the street watching the sexual actions unfold before them. His bosses eventually called him and advised him to shut off the movie, which he did immediately. He could possibly face up to a maximum of 2 years in prison.
