Kendrick Lamar's verse on "Control" was possibly the summer's biggest Hip Hop story, and while many rappers have responded in one way or another, Kendrick remained relatively quiet.
During a recent appearance on Power 106, he was asked if he knew the impact this verse would make before he recorded it.
Kendrick answered, "Nah honestly I didn't know there would be so much speculation behind it, I just wanted to rap. If anybody knows me, they know I wanna just rap."
