Dr. Dre's lawyer recently sent a cease and desist letter to Nik Richie and TheDirty.com after the blogger posted a story from a site user, claiming that the legendary rapper was having an affair with a model by the name of "Kili Anderson." It didn't take long for Nik's lawyer David Gingras to fire off a letter to Dre's people, which took a very snide tone.

In the letter obtained by TMZ, Gingras started out by admitting that he is a huge Dre fan, claiming that he "personally destroyed many subwoofers blasting N.W.A.'s 'F**k Tha Police' in my car in the high school parking lot."

Then the letter turned to Gringas stating that regardless of what a fan he is of Dre, website owners like Nik Richie can't take down stories because they are claimed to be false.

"In all seriousness, website operators like Nik Richie cannot simply remove everything that is claimed to be false for the same reason that prison wardens can't simply release every inmate who claims to be
innocent. Deciding who is guilty and who is innocent is not a task that can or should be delegated to website owners. Really, do you expect Mark Zuckerberg to personally mediate every dispute between 12 year old girls fighting on Facebook? Surely not."

Gringas ended the letter by saying that Dre and his team could pursue litigation, and if the stories are found to be false, TheDirty.com will take down the story. Otherwise, Dre's alleged cheating story will continue to be posted online.
