Model Has Ears Surgically Altered to Look Like an Elf

Don't underestimate the dedication of hardcore "Lord of the Rings" fans.

Melynda Moon, a 23-year-old self-described "Alternative Model" and "BodyMod Enthusiast," had her ears surgically altered because she wanted to look like a character from her favorite book series -- an elf, to be exact.

Moon even posted a video to YouTube documenting the transformation.
