Rapper Saigon opens up about his decision to join Vh1's Love & Hip Hop, explaining that he was just trying to stay on-trend with what's going on in the world of hip hop these days. He adds that everything is already taped and uploaded to the web these days, so he thought he'd take matters into his own hands by joining a reality show.
When asked about the taping schedule, Saigon says that he was initially hesitant to film for six months, because he wasn't in a good space with the mother of his child, Erica Jean, who also appears on the show. He got over his fears, and stuck to the three days a week taping schedule.
