KayO Redd, an aspiring rapper following in his elder brother Waka Flocka Flame's footsteps, was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Dec. 29, according to TMZ. This news is especially heartbreaking as it comes on the heels of a tribute that Waka Flocka posted earlier in the day which featured KayO's music.

While the report has yet to be confirmed, Henry County P.D. told the site that KayO was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

In a now deleted tweet, Waka wrote "my f**king lil brother killed hisself f**kkkkkkkk lifeeeeeee."

This is not the first family member Waka Flocka has lost before their time. Waka also lost a brother in 2000 at the age of 13, according to his mother and manager, Debra Antney, in an interview with Vibe. Waka Flocka apparently blamed himself for his brother dying, after which he "flipped". He is also given tribute in the song "Hard in da Paint", with Waka rapping "When my little brother died I said f**k school."

Our deepest condolences go out to Waka Flocka Flame and his family during this trying time.
