Finishing on top of Nielsen SoundScan's best-selling album of 2013 was Justin Timberlake and the first volume of The 20/20 Experience. Released in April, the record sold a total of 2.43 million copies, topping the Billboard 200 for its first three weeks of release. Although those numbers are great, it's still the lowest-selling bestselling album of any year since Nielsen began tracking these statistics in 1991. And it's the only record to crack 2 million last year.

Eminem followed up at no. 2 with 1.73 million copies of The Marshall Mathers LP 2 sold. That album's been in the Top 10 for eight weeks following its November release. Luke Bryan is the first of several country stars who made 2013's Top 10, as his Crash My Party moved 1.52 million copies this year. Country fans proved to be loyal buyers once again, even if their music hardly ever reaches the Hot 100. Three of the genres albums are on this list.

Drake's acclaimed Nothing Was the Same album is the seventh best-selling album of 2013. It sold 1.34 million copies. Despite being released December 14, Beyonce's self-titled album is the #8 album overall and the best-selling album from a woman of 2013. It sold 1.3 million units.
