Jordan Davis was just 16 years old when he was shot and killed by Micheal Dunn over playing loud music in 2012.

The shooting happened in November 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. The trial Micheal Dunn began this week and more information was revealed behind Davis' death.

According to the New York Times, Jordan was just one of the passengers in a parked jeep when Dunn asked him and his friends to turn down the music from the car. The teens turned the music down, but then turned it back up. Dunn claims that when he tried to tell them to turn the music down once more, he saw one of the teens pull out a gun or a weapon that resembled one. It was then that Dunn fired his gun and killed Davis.

Many details during the trial have been reveled to the public, including the important factor that Davis and his friends didn't have a gun or any weapons in the car. None of the teens have criminal backgrounds and after the shooting, Dunn and his girlfriend returned back to their hotel room instead of calling the police.

In a special piece for the NY Times, Jordan's father Ron Davis says that his son was his 'miracle child' and how he feels as the trial continues to play out. Check out the video above.
