Latasha Marbury, wife of former NBA star Stephon, is going through some drama with her insurance company after she claims a NYC jeweler stole nearly $1 million in jewelry from her. She initially brought in her collection, valued at $2.5 million, into the jeweler to sell, because she wanted to reduce really expensive premiums from her insurance company.
"The Basketball Wives" star brought in a pair of diamond earrings, a diamond pendant and a diamond necklace, which she said the jeweler outright stole from her. She later filed a theft form with her insurance company, who says they won't pay for something that wasn't taken by force or stolen from a safe place.
Latasha is now suing the insurance company for $1 million, while the alleged crooked jeweler has disappeared without a trace.
