In an exclusive interview with VladTV, former Love & Hip Hop artist Saigon shared his thoughts on conscious rap, the dangers of marketing Hip Hop to the youth and his views on Jay Electronica.
The Roc Nation artist has had fans on their toes with the release of the "We Made It" freestyle featuring boss Jay Z and the possibility of his debut album dropping this year. Saigon shared his views on the rapper and his music.
"He's a gifted lyricist, man," he said. "He had that energy you need when you're coming in as a new artist. I wanna hear the music; I'm anticipating his album like I was for my own."
The rapper also likened Jay's relationship to Kate Rothschild to the storyline of cult classic Pootie Tang.
