When you listen to Big Sean's music you probably don't think of anything educational or feel the urge to get yourself or your kids to school on time in order to have perfect attendance. Despite this, the Detroit rapper can now add school principal to his resume. Big Sean spent two hours at Bates Academy in Detroit yesterday as the school's principal for the day.
"On Time. All Day. Every Day" is the name of the new campaign that aims to improve attendance rates at schools in Detroit. This time around Bates Academy won the contest that involved thirty-seven other schools all competing to have Sean be the principal at their school for one day. "As a former DPS student, I could not be more proud of the district for taking the issue of attendance seriously," said Big Sean.
