The popular Rush Hour films made famous by Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are coming to a television screen near you.
According to Deadline, producers Brett Ratner and Bill Lawrence have signed on to do an hour long action-comedy series based on the hit film.
The project was picked up by Warner Bros TV and will have the same premise of the movie with a cop from Hong Kong and a slightly cocky, but goofy partner. Ratner is the film's original director while Lawrence is known for his successful shows like Scrubs and Cougar Town.
The Rush Hour franchise has grossed over $845 million dollars since its debut in 1998.
There has also been talks about a fourth Rush Hour film, but there are no active plans in action at the moment.
